She indeed has a unique story. Lea Salonga got her start in theater, as Annie in the Philippine version of the Broadway musical. Classically trained as opposed to Charice who didn't get any formal training at all. It's old-fashioned chutzpah. It shows in her performances....One hit song can make all the difference. There were other Filipino singers in the mold of Charice who were just as talented, but simply did not get the breaks. She might need to sing songs that young girls will like, so she can capture even more younger audiences. Felfifer,
