Work with clients to conceive, design, and execute visual materials for print, TV advertising, collateral, Internet, and out of home uses in the Asian American market.

Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.

Use Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, DreamWeaver and Macromedia Flash to create web designs and generate new images.

Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.

Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and Internet Website.

Write text for web sites in Japanese, providing English translations.

Work with Japanese-speaking clients to determine their design requirements for advertising purposes, especially for TV and Radio spots.

Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material. Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations and other artwork, using the computer. Create mechanicals; proofed blue lines & color keys

Mark up, paste and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for the printer. Work closely with Print Production and/or TV Production and with the Art Buyer in order to satisfy the client's and agency's objectives, both visually and financially.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design + 6 months experience;

Must read/write/speak Japanese and have experience with interactive Web Design using Flash, Dream Weaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
