Asian American teens have always been known as high achievers in school, but it also turns out they’re also the biggest spenders, too—all in paean to looking smashingly good.

Asian American teens spend an average $140.97 per month on fashion, the most of any ethnic group, while white teenagers spend the least amount ($111.58), according to the New York Daily News, quoting from a new survey released by online market research Y Pulse, a market research firm. Latinos spend the most per trip–$98.20–while whites again spend the least ($81.41). The poll surveyed 1,300 teenagers.
