As he admires the flow of a majestic current, Tuan Pu revels in the flow of good writing. In Taipei, he earned his B.A. in Chinese Literature from Taiwan’s Chinese Culture University. If there is one thing that prepares us for life, it is the discipline we acquire early in life. Under the watchful guidance of his parents, Tommy spent his childhood learning the financial aspects of running the family business. From that vantage point, Tommy learned it’s never too early to learn how to manage money well but how to invest and prepare wisely for one’s future —and that included making sure he received a good education. Tommy graduated at New York University’s prestigious Stern School of Business. Tommy launched his career handling such stalwart companies as Verizon, MetLife, Time Warner Cable and even the United States Department of Labor (US Census). At Admerasia, he oversees Citibank, Lowes, Foxwoods, Mass Mutual and many more. At Admerasia, where he has worked for more than 15 years, Tommy has become not only of its principal leaders but its moral compass as well. He is regarded as a reliable no-nonsense man who exudes a reassuring calm in his job as General Manager. Tommy’s secret probably lies in both his corporate and personal philosophies. For the former, he is fond of saying “do it good, do it right, do it on time.” And the personal virtue he holds dear is one that everyone would do well to emulate: “Treat others how you want to be treated yourself.”
Tommy is happy when he sees hard work bearing fruit. More than overseeing the financial interests and operations of Admerasia’s business,
he is happiest when he sees both client and employees are happy—and profits are, in his own word, “fat.”
