When McDonald’s set out to deepen its Breakfast connection with Asian American consumers, ADMERASIA recognized that everyday moments also hold the strongest emotional meaning. “Morning With You,” a three-episode comic series, reimagined breakfast as a time of care, motivation, and togetherness. It is a reflection of how many Asian households start their day.

Choosing Webtoon was intentional. As one of the most popular digital platforms among Asian Americans, Webtoon fits seamlessly into their daily routines. From commute reads to late-night scrolling, the storytelling format allowed McDonald’s to meet audiences in an environment they already love and trust, through narratives that mirror their own experiences.

Each episode portrayed morning study sessions, family breakfasts, and team practices. These moments show that shared moments, warm caring among peers and family members, and connection define the start of the day. McDonald’s breakfast favorites like Egg McMuffins and Hash Browns were woven naturally into these scenes, turning products into symbols of shared motivation and care.

By blending cultural insight with platform relevance, McDonald’s transformed breakfast from a functional menu choice into an emotional connector. Celebrating the ways Asian American audiences start their mornings together, both online and offline.
