Build Total Market Success Through Cultural Authenticity

To spark awareness and social buzz in the U.S. total market, ADMERASIA partnered with FX NETWORKS on a comprehensive campaign for the record-breaking Emmy-award-winning series Shōgun.​

From the series' post-production phase in 2022 to its release in 2024, ADMERASIA delivered a broad range of works for Shōgun, ensuring its marketing materials' cultural authenticity, creative excellence, and content diversity. Our work spanned social strategy & creative development, cultural consultation, influencer campaign strategy & development, and content management of the series' official Instagram and Meta accounts. We were also responsible for a large portion of copywriting, including providing copy for Shōgun: The Official Podcast, The Official Viewer's Guide, cast & crew interview questions for official screeners, and all Instagram and Meta post copy and engagement. We helped FX find its authentic voice, connecting with diverse audiences by highlighting not only the series but also Japanese passion points like history, lifestyle, art, comedy, and anime.​

Shōgun became FX's biggest premiere, reaching 9 million views. During our campaign, its social following grew from zero to 114K on Instagram and 108K on Meta, reaching 13 million impressions and nearly 7 million views across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
